My very first post. I'm hoping to use this blog as sort of a photo diary, a place to send pics from time to time so my family and friends can visit and see what's going on with me and my family. Starting off this morning I was thinking of trying one of those 'photo a day for a year' groups. I don't know if I can commit to that so this is the next best thing. I can publish my photos when I want to share without having to do the daily thing.! I'm not saying that I won't attempt the 365 deal, just not yet. I will have loads of pics of my family and my garden. Like this one. This was taken 2 weeks ago and shows my front garden. The gourd vines planted at the base of the arbor are now reaching to the top. They grow at least 7-8 inches a day. It's a 'Bottle Gourd' so I can't wait for it to be loaded with them. I'm thinking it will look fantastic in the fall.
