This moring when I was mowing the grass I noticed this purple blur from the corner of my eye. I know this is a weed and a menace but just look closley at how beautiful it is. Yesterday's going away party for Erica was a complete success. We had a good crowd, good food, and the beer was ice cold. I offered to use Erica's Canon 30D to take pictures for her, therefore I didn't use mine and have none for me! Let me tell you, that was hard. I got some really great candids for her and I know she will love them. The next 8 weeks is going to seem strange without her here, but with 'Skype' and cell phones we can see each other and talk regularly. She knows she can click here on the ol' blog and see what's going on around here and she can email pictures to me if she wants to share! Kevin and I are taking it easy today (well, other than mowing, going to the dump and getting groceries) just watching the Red Sox and I'm resting up for my trip tonight. Lorraine and I are going to Gorham NH, then on to Lake Placid, NY...then home! The drive home should be gorgeous thru Vermont and New Hampshire. I'm definatley taking my camera.
